The Franciscan Sisters of Chicago is a congregation of Catholic women living the Gospel life and dedicated to serving others for more than 113 years. We serve the people of God through works prompted by our charism: care for children, the sick, the infirm, and the elderly; and pastoral and social services. We give witness to the faithful love of God for all of creation through our lives and works. Guided by our Franciscan spirit, we are committed to joyful, compassionate service.

A Lenten Reflection
Paraphrasing something said by Father Albert Haase, OFM this morning; Is Jesus knocking on the door of your heart so that He may enter YOUR life, or is He knocking to invite you out so that you may enter HIS life?
